Updated Pricing for Apartments in Jerusalem & Ramat Beit Shemesh

If you are considering buying an apartment in Israel, the first thing you want to know is how much is it going to cost you. Bo Home Israel has put together a pricing chart by neighborhood for both Jerusalem and Ramat Beit Shemesh (RBS) This chart is a very rough estimate because there are many factors that aren’t included in the calculations. So here are some things you need to know.

  1. For the most part prices are based on sale prices for the past 12 months.
  2. Some neighborhoods had very few sales meaning there is no real accurate average.
  3. Different apartments are priced differently so a large apartment in some neighborhoods are far more expensive per square meter than a smaller one, while in other neighborhoods the opposite is true.
  4. Renovated apartments are far more expensive than unrenovated.
  5. New construction is more expensive than apartments in older buildings.

The bottom line is that we are often comparing apples and oranges. Nevertheless this chart is a good starting point to get your bearing straight when you consider buying an apartment in Israel.
